Career Devolopment with Powerhouse for Artists???

YES!!!!

This is a new year for moving further ahead in your endeavors and I encourage everyone to strive for greatness and be the best in whatever it is you do from designing fashion/jewelry to wardrobe styling to art direction - WHATEVER!! One lesson I've learned is that you can't do it all on your own and whether you are an amateur or professional I think it's healthy for one to always get positive and critical feedback on your craft...

With that being said, I just found out that the publishing company, PowerHouseBooks has organized a Portfolio Review and workshops for aspiring and professional photographers with leading experts in the field of art, media and advertising. They have been doing this since 2005 and it's supposedly highly sought-after. I highly recommend this for artists in the field of photography that want or need some direction in their artistic or commercial career. They will only see 100 photographers so I wouldn't wait to register!!!

DO IT!!! DO IT!!! DO IT!!!

For fun, I plugged samples of my photography throughout this post. Yeah, believe it or not, I shoot around too. lol...I kinda started shooting pregnant women (friends of mine) with the idea of pampering them for the day by having their make-up done by Cassandra Renee, wardrobe them and even art direct a shoot around them to create a personalized album for the expecting mother and their families. Sounds like a great idea for a small business, huh??? ;-) So some of the images are of those shoots and a few random shots....
